AboutCampus DirectorCourses OfferedOrientation 2022-23Campus HighlightsLocation DSEU’s Okhla campus:II is strategically placed in the Okhla Industrial Area, one of the most highlighted industrial areas of Delhi. The campus lies within the radius of a few kilometres to Govindpuri and Kalkaji, with both places exhibiting spirited local markets. Connected closely with Delhi Metro’s Violet Line, access to the campus is smooth and secure, along with the facility of DTC bus service and other public transport to enhance last mile connectivity. Ensuring an environment of opportunities in connection to DSEU’s ambitions, the campus is enveloped by a string of industries, both established and in their start-up phase, along with hospitals such as Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi ENT Hospital, Kalindi Hospital and many more. The campus shares the unique feature of access to Faridabad and Ballabhgarh with DSEU’s first Okhla campus, giving its students added advantage to access numerous industries, hospitals and other brand outlets. Students living in neighbouring areas would also be able to easily access the IT hub of Noida and the industrial and hospitality sectors of the National Capital Region as well. The Okhla campus has a world-class infrastructure to assist the shift in the existing paradigm of skilling, acting as a means for DSEU to make skill acquisition aspirational and providing opportunities for all. Being a part of DSEU, the Okhla campus will ensure compliance to National Education Policy 2020 guidelines, to enhance the experience of students and ensure quality training. Prof. Dipali Bansal Campus Director - DSEU Champs Okhla-II Campus Ph.D. – Signal Processing, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi M.Tech. – Instrumentation & Control Engineering, MDU, Rohtak B.Tech. – Electronics & Communication Engineering, BIT, Sindri Certification on Machine Learning – Stanford University, 2020 Prof. Dipali Bansal is an alumna of BIT Sindri with 26 years of academic and professional experience. Her previous assignment was in the role of Dean Engineering for a Deemed to be University. She has done her Bachelors in Electronics & Communication Engineering and has earned her Ph.D. from Jamia Milia Islamia, India where she worked on Digital Signal Processing and its applications in health care. She is a part of a curiosity-driven research group working in the field of bio-signal processing that brings together experimental and theoretical techniques and approaches in acquiring and analyzing human physiological parameters viz. ECG, EMG, EEG signals using professional tools like MATLAB and LabVIEW. Her area of expertise is Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and her courses are updated to address new technologies, motivating students for MATLAB based projects & innovations, and developing new pedagogical techniques. She is a recognized Udemy Instructor (MOOC Platform) for a course on Digital Signal Processing where students from 42 countries are enrolled. Her teaching and research cross-pollinate each other in numerous ways, and so lead to greater effectiveness in both realms. This connection is most direct with her two books (“EEG based Brain-Computer Interfacing: Cognitive Analysis and Control” and“Real-time acquisition of human physiology-a MATLAB based approach) published by Elsevier and her research publications (over 90) in the domain of Signal Processing in prestigious database (55 are scopus indexed & 33 are in WoS). She has mentored 08 Ph.D. scholars in this domain. She has an in-depth understanding of accreditation including NAAC, NBA, ABET etc. Courses Taught Digital Signal Processing MATLAB Control Systems Analog Communication Signals & Systems Communication Engineering Analog Electronics Sensors & Transducers Basic Electronics Electronics Measurement Information Theory and Coding Research & Publications Bansal, D., Khan, M., Salhan, A.K.
