Introduction: The transition from school to University marks the beginning of an immense transition in personal and professional development for students. During this shift, the students are expected to take up more responsibilities and make independent decisions. All students have different coping mechanisms to tackle this change and sometimes these challenges can hamper the mental well-being of an individual. The early stages of psychological distress can lead to stress, poor performance in academics, short temper and even anxiety. Currently, the University has 19 active campuses with more than 5800 first-year students and in the Academic Year 2022-23 the University is set to welcome more than 6500 students across various programs and campuses. Having such a vast and diverse range of stakeholders at the University, it has been felt that there is a need for specialised mental health counselling & emotional support services for the students and staff of DSEU. While the educational institutions have started to focus on holistic development of its students, low well-being and emotional distress is still under the shadows. And in order to give the necessary attention to this rising issue, the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University has the below given services readily available for its students, faculty and staff.
